Forest School

This week Forest School lit the first campfire we have ever had at Broadway.  They whittled sticks and toasted marshmallows and had a scrumptious time.  When the fire had died and it began to rain the children returned indoors with warm and fuzzy tummies.  Feeling excited and inspired they decided to write a poem.

Campfires are fun
Amazing starlight flame
Munching on marshmallows
Please can we do it again?
Fire on a dark frosty night
In the dark sky the fire lit up
Remember the rules
Everyone had fun!
