Last morning at the Hill! We are all going to miss waking up to a fabulous view every day. We have had a brilliant week and made some fantastic memories. Here’s to next year!
Busy canoeing to One Tree Island and a day out up the mountain today, a climb up Walla Crag. Lots of fun and adventure finished off by a Ferry trip across Derwent Water. The children ventured far into the lead mine in Newlands Valley and some of the group braved the exit without torches.
An adventurous day climbing Catbells. The views were spectacular! Fantastic effort by all of the children, smiles all round, making brilliant memories. A mixed group today for the hill walk. The more adventurous ones set out with Miss Taylor and had a brilliant time in glorious sunshine; mountains, caves, frogs and ice creams-what a day!
A scramble up Honsiter Gyll resulted in great teamwork and satisfaction.
We have unpacked our cases, ate lunch, then climbed up Latrigg Fell. What an amazing view! The sun is shining and we are all having a great time.
