Our Minds and Bodies - Spending time outdoors can lift your mood and help you feel better about things. Taking in the sights and sounds around you can help recharge your mind and body and help you relax. Exercising outside boosts your mood and increases your self-esteem.


Each Other - Having fun outside with your friends can help reduce stress and improve your mood. There are lots of activities you can do outside together to help you relax like dance, music or art. Being kind to each other makes the world a much nicer place to be and at school, our Playground Buddies ensure everyone enjoys their break and lunchtimes.


Our Friends Across the World - We have sponsored a child through the Charity Plan UK since 2007. First of all we sponsored Rebecca, who lives in Ghana, until she was eighteen and now we sponsor Luis, who lives in Bolivia. We raise the money by donating our ‘Loose Change for Luis’ and we keep in touch with him regularly by sending postcards, letters, photographs and small gifts.


Our Environment - Improving your environment helps boost your self-esteem and at Broadway, we take pride in our school grounds and in ourselves. Gardening helps to reduce stress and growing vegetables is good for your mind and body - even weeding can be very relaxing!


Our Local Wildlife - Taking care of wildlife can be a really great way to feel good about yourself and spending time connecting with nature has a positive effect on your health and wellbeing.


Our Planet - We do what our best to look after our planet. We reduce our waste by composting, reuse rainwater by collecting it in our water butts to use in our school gardens and recycle our paper and plastics. We also walk, cycle or scoot to school wherever possible instead of coming by bus or car.
