Pupil Well-being

At Broadway Junior School, our aim is to ensure that all of our pupils are happy, healthy and safe. The emotional well-being of our children is just as important as their physical health. Good mental health allows children to develop the resilience to cope with issues they may have in adult life. For this reason, we are proud to be taking part in Sunderland’s Mental Health Charter Mark.  I am Broadway’s Mental Health and Wellbeing lead and I am thrilled to be running the project within school. This is a subject that I am extremely passionate about and as PSHE coordinator in school, mental health and wellbeing will be embedded into the curriculum throughout the year and will be positively reinforced on a daily basis.

If you have any queries at all, or want to get involved, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
